Samsung fake stunt video better than most.

Via Austria, agency unknown. The eco challenge: Which printer—a Samsung CLX model or a "traditional" printer—can copy two color pages to one B/W page in 40 seconds. Setting, good. Casting, good. Music, good. Even the fake rocket launch and crash are pretty good. And I'm sold on the speed-of-use of the Samsung. Much better than Samsung's fake hockey stunt video created for the Vancouver Olympics to promote mobile recording. There're two more videos in the campaign, both not as good, featuring a cliffhanging truck and a giant fan (view here). Previous fake stunt videos: IBM Thinkpad (lame) • Surfing sheep (lame) • MTV (fake dog shit) • Diesel (funny) • Ray-Ban (stupid) • Ray-Ban (stupider).

i'm not sold at all. obviously in samsung's ad the 'other' guy is going to fumble around and not be as fast. convinces me of nothing.

also there's a noticable jolt just before he lifts off where they cut between real and cg footage. lame

yes YES you're right. I was too easy on this thing. It must have caught me in a good mood. IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN.

Actually. I don't even know if this falls in the "Fake" stunt" category at all. It seems pretty derivative of Cliff Freeman's Fox Sports (Regional Sports Report) and Budget work. Which were all just funny violent spots and none of which wussied out in the end by showing that someone was "okay."

All their videos are private so I can't watch them. Perhaps they're restricted to the States?
