Well, at least the studio didn't plaster her ass on the posters.

"Sometimes Love Blows."
That's the main tagline of Good Luck Chuck (not "There's something funny about Dane," as is listed on IMDb). Combine the tagline with the visual in the web ad, right and, well, welcome to Movie Marketing 101, Jessica darlin'! (here's a previous example of dripping ice cream cone symbolism)
previously in Movie Marketing:
1. Saw III: where a good idea becomes a bad cliche.
2. "On the 1st Evil Day of X-Mas...
3. The Spider-Man 3™ cheeseburger.
4. TimeWarner "diversity" ad.

Seeing as they didn't use a comma ("Good luck, Chuck" - as in 'so long, guy named chuck'), they probably meant "here, let me give you a nice good-luck chuck". That would definitely explain the visual.

I think John Varvatos might be involved in this, Chucky. Because, as we all know, Dane Cook is a Rockstar of comedy, even if there's nothing funny about him - and Jessica Alba is a Rockstar of ....ass.

I'm so glad that Hollywood recycles. "Love Blows" is also the tagline for the completely unnecessary remake of The Heartbreak Kid starring Ben Stiller, Carlos Mencia, and other bad actors.

Man, what I wouldn't give to be Helvetica so I could look down her shirt and steal some icecream when she was looking to her left.
